My client is a leading Private Bank and Asset Management group who provide wealth management and personalised investment solutions for their clients. They currently have global offices across 20 countries in Asia, Europe and Middle east with over 4000 employees globally. They are currently looking for IT infrastructure support engineers who can provide 1st and 2nd level support of local IT infrastructure, and have hands on experience with Server, Storage, Backup Administration and Virtualized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for management, maintenance of storage, virtualized environment, servers and network devices.
Monitoring of IT services, applications and underlying infrastructure.
Ensure data backup and recovery of IT services.
Local Data center management and support
Maintain security and data protection
Ensure proper update of technical IT documentation and processes.
Ensure technology risks are managed properly
Effectively resolve and close IT event tickets and alerts on a timely basis
1st and 2nd level support of local IT Infrastructure.
Actively represent local IT in infrastructure projects with Head Office and act as a consultant for local IT projects.
Identify and escalate operational and project risks and issues accurately and on a timely basis.

Key Requirements :

Tertiary education in Computer related disciplines.
minimum 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in the financial industry.
Knowledge in managing and supporting a client and server environment.
Knowledge in Windows server administration especially Microsoft technologies such as SCCM, Exchange, Citrix (Xen family of products).
Knowledge in Linux server administration would be an advantage.
Sound knowledge on IP telephony and voice recording technology. (Unify/ Simens is a plus).
Knowledge of virtual technologies such as AppV, VMware, Xen and ESX is a must.
Hands-on system and network installation and configuration experience.
