Our client, a well-regarded global asset manager, is seeking an experienced Institutional Sales professional to cover Korea market. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in investment management, with a strong focus on fixed income products.
As an Institutional Sales professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and pension funds. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of the Korean market, including the regulatory environment, investment trends, and competitive landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients in the Korea market, including asset allocators, CIO, or any key decision makers
- Build a deep understanding of client needs and investment objectives
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver customized solutions to clients
- Maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on market trends and network with industry professionals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives, as well as organizing roadshows and client events
- Monitor market developments and provide regular updates to clients
Requirements
- University graduate with degree in Finance / Economics or a related field. MBA or CFA candidate a plus
- At least 10 years of experience in institutional sales, preferably with a focus on broad range of fixed income products
- Strong knowledge of the Korea market and regulatory environment
- Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Korean
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
