Our Client is a leading asset manager globally with an AUM of USD 1,500 billion. It is an early comer to Asia and has built a substantial market share in both intermediary and institutional businesses since the 1970s.

Job Purpose (Job Summary):
The position reports to the Senior Intermediary Sales and forms part of the Intermediary sales team focusing on generating business from various distribution channels with primary focus on Hong Kong distribution partners.

 Key Responsibilities / Duties:

 Marketing and selling the client’s funds to various distribution channels including consumer banks, private banks, IFA and insurance companies in Hong Kong.
Building and maintaining the overall relationship with high standard of client service with all levels with our distribution partners
Provide quality support to distributors
Assist in exploiting new channels and business opportunities, developing new distribution partnership and pitching new/existing product ideas
Achieve sales and revenue target as assigned
Achieve agreed level of client engagement activities
Representing the client as the speaker in different seminars and presenting our market views and investment product ideas professionally
Work closely with the team in developing new product ideas, product focus and sales ideas to enhance business opportunities
Communicate effectively to the team and other departments on distributors’ requirements and expectations
Lead or participate in other ad-hoc projects as assigned
Actively provide market intelligence and analyses for strategic planning and business development
Work closely with other departments in delivering timely response to the clients
Provide guidance to junior members on the team

Work Experience / Knowledge:

At least 7 years of sales and marketing experience in financial and / or fund products
Excellent in interpersonal skills with good connectivity with distributors
Proven track records in selling to retail banks(branch network / front line selling), gatekeepers of retail banks / private banks, and private bankers
Good technical knowledge in investment

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

Good communication skills and a good presenter
Computer skills, both numeric (essential) and creative
Accurate, articulate, presentable and showing initiative
Innovativeness in coming up with new ideas in response to prospects’ needs
Good time management skills
Strong team player
Native fluency in Chinese and excellent spoken and written English, preferably mandarin

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

University degree, preferably in Finance or Business related discipline
