Investments and Wealth Solutions - Securities Services Department

Hang Seng's Investment Services business offers a full spectrum of investment products and services to both private and corporate investors. Our securities services are offered through a wide variety of trading channels - including designated branches and the Internet, as well as automated, manned and mobile phone trading.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Investment Services Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Assist in driving, planning and monitoring the development of sales support infrastructure/projects of securities and its related products for retail clients to achieve the Bank's overall strategic and operating objectives.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors on project planning and execution.
• Prepare reports related to investment compliance, Group's internal control standards and risk management •
• Design, build and manage product platforms for efficient delivery of investment products.
• Take part in investment-related digital initiatives and keep abreast of latest market changes in order to recommend appropriate strategy to maintain the competitiveness of the business.
• Design and develop sales materials, highlighting product features, related risk exposure, and the selling approach to facilitate the sales activities of frontline / sales staff of retails and corporate banking.•
• Keep abreast of the new development of manuals, rules and regulations in respect of investment compliance, Group's internal control standards and risk management issues.

Requirements

• University graduate in Finance or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of relevant experience and be conversant with relevant rules and regulations
• Fulfillment of the competency requirements set out in the "Guidance Note on competence" issued by the Securities and Futures Commission.
• Good knowledge of local and overseas stock market.
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skill.
• Strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and proficient in advanced MS Excel
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese
