Key Role And Responsibilities • Business Requirement Management Understand the business capabilities and limitations of the existing Core Banking environments. Collect, analyze, define and agree on new business requirements with intended benefits for DSB Bank Group moving forward. Justify and prioritize the requirements to ensure adequate inclusion in the Core Banking Project focusing on local implementation without compromising the objectives and commitments of the overall Project • Core Banking System Expertise Study and understand the functionalities and capabilities of the new Core Banking system thoroughly focusing on value-adding business application and opportunity for business advancement beyond existing limitations • Solution Design and Recommendation Identify and design cost effective solutions to satisfy approved business requirements via appropriate system parameter settings with minimum system customizations as far as possible and sensible. Work closely with IT team to ensure proper integration of all related non-Core Banking systems. Recommend and influence the business for necessary transformation where adequate and provide support on process re-engineering and migration planning accordingly • UAT and User Training Support Participate in UAT planning and set up and provide support to business users during UAT interacting directly with project team members and vendors for prompt resolution of problems found and ensure comprehensive coverage of test cases and delivery of satisfactory test results. Also support the training of business users to ensure proper understanding and usage of the new system • Project Planning, Development & Implementation Contribute to the establishment of high quality project plans and work closely with other project team members and vendors in the development and implementation of system and process changes in accordance with approved project scope, budget, targets and timelines. Also, support the implementation of business transformation initiatives for the effective use of the new system to achieve the intended business objectives • Risk Management & Post Implementation Support Address potential project risks encountered carefully and report to team lead and PROJECT manager appropriately for effective and timely rectification. Support the new Core Banking system to ensure prompt resolution of production issues and early stabilization of system operation. Provide constructive feedback to project manager during post implementation review for continuous improvement • Banking Business and Technology Trends Maintain awareness on banking related business and technology trends and provide consultancy and advice to business users and contribute to the other related Core Banking initiatives proactively for more business success
Job Requirements • Bachelor degree of above in Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, process and system solution recommendation, design and implementation with at least 3 years in banking related environment with good understanding in related business applications. • Good in CASA products i.e. Savings Deposit, Time Deposit is definitely advantage • Possess good general understanding of the banking industry in terms of products and services, operational requirements, regulatory compliance, market and related technology trends, and other common business challenges • Experience in process re-engineering is preferred • Experience in vendor partnership with successful joint delivery of technology solution for business support • Positive personality with desire and passion in driving business growth through smart application of technology and adequate design of operational process • Committed deliverer with abilities and desire to make things happen • Good communication (Putonghua and English, with Cantonese an advantage), elaboration and presentation skills • Resourceful, creative and proactive in continuous improvement and advancement • Good team player striving for team success and win-win results • Keen to learn but at the same time willing to share learning with others • Candidate with less experiences will be considered as Assistant Manager, Business Analysis
