Manager/Senior Manager, Payment and Clearing Operations

Key Responsibilities
 

• Process and monitor daily remittance and clearing operations independently of Hong Kong Office and provide the support to other Branches
• Represent the team to liaise closely with Mainland China CITIC bank and support relevant operations, new business initiatives and project implementation.
• Ensure remittance and clearing functions operate efficiently, accurately and meet with all agreed SLAs.
• Ensure to comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and manage payment and clearing new initiatives and projects.
• Establish operation procedures and internal control polices.
• Propose effective control on new initiatives to protect the Bank’s interests and mitigate operational risks.
• Prepare regulatory and management reports, perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements
 

• Post-Secondary education or above
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience 
• Good knowledge of clearing products and operations
• Familiar with regulatory requirements such as AML/CFT compliance on payment
   
• With relevant experience of supporting and liaising with mainland office is an advantage 
• Familiar with regulatory requirements such as cheque clearing practice
• Excellent command of both written and spoken Mandarin is preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
