The Role Responsibilities Business Origination & Client Management - Assist RM to achieve budgeted revenue and other campaign targets
- Help drive sales process / enhance utilization by proactively identifying business opportunities / needs for limits restructuring during course of communication with customers
- Offer high quality customer service on enquiries and transactions handling, and provide operation solutions to enhance customer experience
BCA Preparation - Prepare complete, accurate and quality BCA
- Good scheduling of BCA process and submit BCAs on a timely basis
- Correct identification of policy breaches
- Ensure facility drawdown after approval in a timely manner.
Portfolio Risk Management - Ensure credit, operational, legal, regulatory, reputation, compliance are held to the highest standards of risk management
- Identify risks through day-to-day transactions behaviour
- Effective limit maintenance to avoid excesses due to system constraints
Business Administration and Internal Stakeholders Management - Prepare business returns on a timely basis
- Effective liaison and communication with intra-bank departments in relation to daily routine
Regulatory and Business Conduct - Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct
Co-Management of Accounts with GSAM - Support the RM to proactively report any deterioration in financial performance/likely shortfall;
- Assist the RM in ensuring no adverse comments by GIA on Comanaged accounts;
- Support the RM for any events having an adverse impact on recoverability to be intimated to GSAM RM immediately.
Our Ideal Candidate - University graduate with solid working experience in banks
- Strong analytical, verbal reasoning and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and analyse financial statements
- Adequate commercial marketing acumen e.g. demonstration of capability in identifying cross selling opportunities
- Excellent customer service orientation
- High responsiveness
