Job Responsibilities

  • Health insurance policy administration, focusing on new business & renewal policy proposal requirements assessment, systems & processes change requirements, policy setup and implementation in policy administration and claims systems
  • Health product development and implementation, contributing to product design & development with inputs identified & consolidated for operations & servicing, testing and implementation in the policy administration and claims systems
  • Work closely with internal IT teams, external IT vendors and outsourced service providers to develop, test and implement the necessary capabilities for the policies/products
  • Support the policy services team, working with other involved functions in operations & servicing, IT and client management, to resolve incidents and customer feedback/complaints
  • Monitor, prioritize and manage the systems backlogs for the policy administration systems
  • Monitor and assist in reporting on the performance of the outsourced service providers
  • Represent the policy services function in regulatory compliance projects and other cross-department projects (within as well as beyond operations & servicing)

 

Requirements

  • At least 7 years’ solid experience in health insurance operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Diploma or above, preferably with insurance-related qualifications, e.g. FLMI
  • Proven track record of handling projects, process documentation & improvement, and systems changes, working with IT, vendors and stakeholders, developing user requirements and test cases for system, and conducting UAT
  • Knowledge of AS400 is preferred
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem solving and attention to details
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Highly organized self-starter, with the ability to be engaged in multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong PC skills (e.g. Excel and Word)
