Manager, Payment Services

Responsibilities: 

• Supervise the operations of remittance team, ensure remittance related tasked (inward/ outward payment / abnormal case) perform accurately and accordingly.
• Authorize payment transactions, ensure all are in compliance with relevant AML and related polices and guidelines.
• Streamline process workflow to reinforce operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Establish and enhance standard operations procedures to ensure full compliance with external regulations and internal bank policies.
• Support Product team in customer experience improvement initiatives.
• Identify and reporting incidents or abnormal issues, support in remediation actions.
• Support payment projects including defining user requirements, conduct user acceptance test etc.
• Provide training and guidance to Operation team on changes.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support new product/service launch and process streamlining.
• Liaise and collaborate with business and risk stewards to support projects and changes to drive business growth
• Accountable for effective use of controls to minimize operational risks

Requirements:

• University in Business related discipline or other relevant qualifications.
• Minimum 8 years’ working experience in Financial Industry, with at least 3 years at managerial role. 
• Holder of HKIB’s ECF on AML and CFT
• Knowledge in RTGS / SWIFT and FPS/eDDA transaction.
• Knowledge in AML/Sanction related payment screening.
• Experience in liaison with HKICL, SWIFT and bank payment network.
• Self-motivation with excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.
• Strong data analytical and process re-engineering skill.
• Able to multi-task and handle key deliverables with challenging deadlines.
• Fluent in Putonghua is a definite advantage.
• Proficient in PC applications
