Manager/ Senior Manager, Capital Management

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting the team lead of capital management team under the Finance Division -Central Functions, performing the work in relation to (i) capital management including capital and fund raising, capital planning and ad hoc tasks, (ii) resolution planning, and (iii) providing analyses and information preparation supports to Top Management 

Responsibilities

• Handle and execute the capital and debt issuances of the Group
• Provide input and support to capital plans
• Handle resolution planning projects in compliance with HKMA regulations 
• Provide support to Top Management including capital adequacy ratio preparation and analysis, and projections 
• Provide guidance and coaching to subordinate staff
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably major in corporate finance, finance or accounting
• Relevant professional qualifications in HKICPA is preferred
• With at least 8-10 years’ experience in banking or related sectors under the following background:
• Ideally 3-5 years in supervisory position
• Sound knowledge in corporate finance including bond issuances
• Strong analytical skill and project management
• Independent, self-motivation, and detail-oriented
• A team player with good communication skill and risk awareness
• Good command of English
