Network Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Provide implementation, configuration, administration, support, and continuous improvement of network solution for office, remote sites, enterprise networking, cloud integration, and extranet integration.
• Prepare technical design, detail configurations and documentations, liaise with vendors to setup network infrastructure.
• Design highly available network infrastructure to meet Bank’s need.
• Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) to evaluate the latest technologies/products.
• Monitor the network utilization and healthiness, ensure the network meets the Service Level Agreement (SLA) committed.

Job Requirements

• University degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in network support and management, preferably in banking industry
• CCIE certified or equivalent is a plus
• Solid hands-on experience in managing LAN, WAN, DCI, wireless, L2 - L3 routing and switching, voice, load-balancing, Anti-DDoS, network encryption, firewall, proxy, cloud service, high resilience infrastructure.
• Experienced in networking solution on Cisco, Juniper, H3C, Arista, Palo-Alto, Fortigate, Checkpoint, F5, Huawei.
• Clear understanding on BGP, OSPF, STP, MSTP, RSTP, IPSec, GRE, VRRP, HSRP, IP/TCP, DNS, DHCP, NTP.
• Knowledge of networking in cloud platforms AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective service processes
• Able to communicate in Cantonese, English and Putonghua
