We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an
Officer, Cheque Processing Services.
Principal Responsibilities - Ensure the cheque operations to be completed under a tight processing time window and all internal or external cut-off time(s) are met on a daily basis
- Ensure all internal procedure(s) are up-to-date and our operations are strictly in compliance with group policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Handle and resolve issues arise from any unexpected events to minimize financial loss and/or customer impact
- Incident escalation to management in a timely manner
- Prepare and provide accurate MI for billing and management reporting .etc
- Conduct periodic review on existing controls to ensure operational risk is contained and introduce new one if needed
- Conduct periodic contingency drill exercises arranged by internal or external parties and update the Business Continuity Plan(s) if needed
- Assist in process streamlining initiatives, project implementation and conduct necessary User Acceptance Test (UAT)
- Handle and complete ad-hoc assigned task(s) on time
- Liaison with internal stakeholders
- Reporting potential Financial Crime Activities
Requirements
- Experience in operations within banking or financial institutions
- Strong analytical and independent problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to details
- Excellent communication in a team environment
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Project Management skill, Vendor Management skill and Transformation skill are preferred
