A top-tier global asset management is looking for a payroll and benefits talent to join the HR team.

Responsibilities

Payroll Management & Oversight

  • Liaise with regional Finance team to ensure all payments are processed within the required timeframe and all accounting entries are appropriately recorded
  • Responsible to payroll tax reporting for APAC and handle tasks related to audits and statutory filings
  • Ensure all changes to payroll are accurately reflected in the HRIS system, including data quality controls and maintaining audit records
  • Leave management and handle other time tracking matters

 

Benefits

  • Ensure accurate delivery of pension and benefits administration functions, including enrolments, terminations and reporting
  • Provide insight and recommendations into policies and programs based on subject matter expertise and local market knowledge
  • Work closely with local HR team and prepare benefits material like employee toolkits, communication and other useful updates to internal clients
  • Being the region’s lead in Benefits and liaise with global counterparts on various programs, strategy and policy harmonization

 

HR Projects

  • Participate in region or firm-wide project as necessary, including office set-up, system enhancement, data integration and other initiatives

 

Requirements

  • University graduate with proven ability to work in a multinational company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both Chinese and English
  • 4 – 6 years of experience working in payroll for APAC. Experience using Workday is a plus
  • Keen attention to detail, with high degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical skills – a problem solver with ability to make recommendations
  • Proactive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism. Able to work effectively in a team environment and on individual projects
  • Excellent time-management, project management and organization skills to prioritize effectively and manage information flow in order to meet deadlines
  • Has initiative and is self-motivated and interested in taking on new challenges
