Principle, Digital Product Owner

Duties

• Lead & support Digital Product Owner teams to innovate, validate, incubate, and commercialise disruptive solutions, in the role of an expert advisor to the Digital Product team.
• Be the “bridge” and integrator between business owners, digital CoE and IT teams
• Serve as Roadmap owner, including defining overall product strategy direction, and ensuring a feature/story pipeline exists to support the product strategy and objectives.
• Clarify business requirements and stakeholder delivery expectations with Business Owner
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (using plan provided by Testing Lead), to ensure solution is aligned with BRD / User Story, before passing to Business Owner for final acceptance testing
• Work with Enterprise Architects to provide input for the end-to-end Enterprise solution road-map, and own an individual product roadmap
• Own the creation and prioritisation of the backlog for specific (multiple) digital solution(s) by working closely with business owners
• Coordinate deployment dates, ensures all stakeholder groups are trained and ensures proper communication of deployment impacts to the business.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Product Owner driving and delivering a successful Product Roadmap in an Agile environment
• 3 years of experience writing features, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria in a product development environment 
• 3 years of experience working in digital projects to capture experience or technology nuances and enablers and translating them into actionable next steps 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years) work experience
• Have extensive knowledge of a product delivery model from inception to execution
• Have a solid understanding and ability to describe and articulate the roles within a product team and responsibilities of the roles within a full-scale product team
• Strong believer and advocate of customer centricity and innovative mindset as key success factors underpinning sustainable business growth
• Have used and/or created JIRA, Rally or Version One boards to track project scope
• Have experience using InVision/Zeplin to help develop UI/UX mocks
• Are experienced working in an Agile development process or have an Agile certification (POPM, APM, CSPO)
• Have the ability to manage conflict within an organization regarding planning and prioritization
• Have excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
