Our client is a prestige U.S. multi strategies, quant trading firm with global existence, currently hiring a devops/production engineer to join the team to enhance the whole trading production environment. Also open to candidates who are keen to relocate to Singapore, London, Shanghai China.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain electronic trading applications in APAC across multi asset classes
- Build automation and standardization of the firm’s environment, create monitoring tools and automating all infrastructure activities that currently require manual intervention
- Work closely with traders to understand their needs
- Analyze and resolve critical production issues, managing incident tracking, analysis and reporting
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Mentor and guide junior team members
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
- Min.3 years experiences in trading floor with automation/configuration experiences
- Hands-on experience working within a Linux environment
- Solid knowledge in trading systems and applications, including OMS and FIX engines
- Strong in Python programming or similar language
- Experiences in CI/CD and SDLC
