Your role
Are you a multitasker? Are you solid as a rock when you are juggling a lot of projects? We are looking for someone like this to:

- Provide pro-active support to the project manager in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, project administration, communication, reporting, best practices and applied methodology
- Establish efficient and effective PMO capabilities using UBS internal PMO standards, processes and tools
- Take responsibility for the project documentation, such as status reports, financial forecasts and the tracking of risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and actions throughout the project process
- Partnering with colleagues in different roles to assess the workloads and impacts for different departments, identify dependencies and possible risks/issues across teams, and agree with respective functions on mitigation measures
- Create structured schedules and project plans based on the project goals, resources needed, potential risks, time to market and budget constraints
- Develop and communicate clear and actionable deliverables, or activities to be completed
- Hold owners accountable for their commitments and conduct project team meetings to provide status updates and identify and resolve issues
- Adapt plans based on evolving needs, conditions or issues that may arise and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery in accordance with the stated project goals
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, being the single source of the truth, manage information and reporting flow to different stakeholders across the firm, and provide transparency on overall project status

Your team
You will be working in Shanghai (or Hong Kong) for the Local Operating Officer at UBS Asset Management China.

Your expertise
-At least 3 years of PMO / project management experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Asset Management or related business areas
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and schedule workload
-Strong Project management skills
-Ability to work under pressure and cope with complex and changing scenarios
-Ability to manage stakeholders and objectives with conflicting priorities across functions, businesses and time zones
-Ability to partner across other functions, regions and lines of business
-Financial acumen
-Very good English and Mandarin communication skills
-A University degree in Business Administration, Finance or other relevant field, preferably with additional qualification in project management
-Able to work under pressure and cope with difficult and ambiguous scenarios.
-Proactive and structured with strong attention to detail
-A great communicator who remains calm in stressful situations
-Able to multi-task with excellent follow-up and organization skills
-An expert in building networks and connections
-A strong team player
-Familiar with the Asian culture
