Your role
Are you a multitasker? Are you solid as a rock when you are juggling a lot of projects? We are looking for someone like this to:

- Establish proper project governance and infrastructure to facilitate close project oversight and management during project lifecycle
- Ensures that the project is delivered within the mutually agreed scope, timeline and budget. Retains control of the project at all times
- Plan and manage the program design, analysis and implementation (e.g. project scoping, business model, business processes & risk, project co-ordination) within the overall program management framework
- Manage and coordinate all projects streams to ensure projects are delivered within mutually agreed scope and timeline
- Manage information and reporting flow to different stakeholders across the firm
- Help to identify and manage project risks and agree with respective functions on mitigation measures
- Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks and propose adjustments as necessary and prioritize the deliveries in conjunction with the project sponsor / project committees
- Build effective and collaborative cross departmental relationship to enable timely and quality deliverables
- Keep all stakeholders and working group members informed on progress and issues and provide transparency on overall project status, scope, budget and schedule to the Steering Committee
- Ensures RAG reporting of deliverables (together with PMO)

Your team
You will be based in Shanghai (or Hong Kong) and working for the Local Operating Officer at UBS Asset Management China.

Your expertise
-At least 7 years of project management / business analysis experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Asset Management or related business areas and with local China business experience
-Track record in implementing large scale change programs in multinational organizations
-Possess asset management domain knowledge in Investment/Trading/Operations, Institutional, Wholesales, Client Services and/or other middle/back office functions
-Preferably exposure in local China practices, systems, processes and controls
-Understanding of global best practices in asset management industry and ability to bridge with the entire organization
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and schedule workload
-Strong Project management skills
-Ability to work under pressure and cope with complex and changing scenarios
-Ability to manage stakeholders and objectives with conflicting priorities across functions, businesses and time zones
-Ability to partner across other functions, regions and lines of business
-Ability of coordinating / managing deliverables of more junior staff
-Very good English and Mandarin communication skills
-A University degree in Business Administration, Finance or other relevant field, preferably with additional qualification in project management
-Able to work under pressure and cope with difficult and ambiguous scenarios.
-Proactive and structured with strong attention to detail
-A great communicator who remains calm in stressful situations
-Able to multi-task with excellent follow-up and organization skills
-An expert in building networks and connections
-A strong team player
-Familiar with the Asian culture
