Our client is an international asset management firm an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber candidate to join them.

Responsible for the supporting the management and execution of  Investment Operations division wide projects and act as the regional representative for cross-functional strategic programs that are of moderate to high risk and complexity. Provide oversight and input for into multiple Investment Operations project resources assigned to strategic initiatives and act as the lead for the regional office. Participates in managing multi-phased initiatives as it relates to the regional offices to ensure all projects included in those initiatives complete on time and within budget.  Keeps all teams and other stakeholders informed of status of assigned projects and initiatives. Ensures adequate documentation of initiatives, projects and resultant outcomes to ensure maintenance of results.  Tracks budgets, resource use, service levels and deliverables. Researches and makes recommendations on how best to accomplish multi-phased initiatives for the  regional offices, including assessing business costs, IT requirements, resource needs, and available tools.  Participates in planning of related projects and establishes cross-group linkages to leverage resources. Enlists the aid of peers, managers and specialists to identify and obtain necessary resources. Produces metrics to measure the progress, success of initiatives and related projects, service levels and deliverables.  Tests progress and success throughout the course of each project and initiative as well as at each initiative’s completion in the regions

To be considered, you will be a university graduate with a minimum of 8 years of operations project experience, including experience with multi-user decision support tools and methods, middle office and financial risk management, financial model development and customer rollouts. Experience with a variety of business systems including large-scale, multi-user transactions/messaging management, data delivery and database/information systems. Business process reengineering experience, including initiatives that introduce both new processes and new systems across business units. Capable of managing a function efficiently and to high quality standards. Strong communication and presentation skills. Project and process management ability. Understands methodologies for developing and implementing metrics and statistics for process innovations. Vendor Oversight Management. Experience in clearing houses in the region.
