Rates Trader (Associate or above)

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for trading interest rate products.
• Working closely with the sales and research function to service their needs in the flow interest rates market.
• Generate and implement appropriate control mechanisms and solutions to minimise the risk of desk gaps and exposure.
• Prepare technical reports on market updates and portfolio review.
• Coordinate with internal teams or related stakeholders to increase profit.

Requirements:

• Experienced in trading and market making - Experience in EM or Aussie Rates is a big plus.
• Demonstrable experience in developing client relationships is essential.
• Able to work both independently and as a team player.
• A strong track record of making budget targets each year.
