A leading global private equity firm is looking for a highly experienced fundraising professional to play an integral role in identifying and developing relationship with notable capital raisers including heavyweight LPs with primary responsibilities for real estate investments in Asia. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong track record of fundraising in the institutional space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and developing relationships with notable capital raisers including heavyweight LPs; developing and executing a plan to close interested investors
  • Continually developing and expanding the institutional investor base by chasing leads and taking a proactive approach
  • Evaluating and pitching new business opportunities; coordinating business development efforts with the real estate investment team

·       Leading ongoing fundraising by reviewing/responding to due diligence requests, reviewing marketing materials

 

Qualifications:

  • Highly experienced capital raising professional with successful track record of real estate fundraising or proven institutional sales skills
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major or focus in finance, economics or real estate from an accredited university
  • Strong reputation and deep industry network. Those with own source of trusted investors and a track record of raising funds for China/emerging market real estate investments will be highly regarded
  • Prior involvement in client-facing, business development activities related to fundraising and investment due diligence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin & English and interpersonal skills
  • Strong insight with ability to think about the long term needs of institutional investors and discuss in- depth scenarios of creating successful, revenue generating relationships
