Who we are:

Founded in early 2017 by two experienced head-hunters with over 15 years of experience in capital markets/investment banking, FICC (E), and Asset Management hiring in London & Hong Kong. Each QHire consultant has deep knowledge of their field: market players, products, roles, teams, hiring rationale, and compensation structure. Our consultants have expert experience in handling difficult negotiations with their candidates. Our consultants are good at grasping, interpreting, and solving complex problems.

If you do have several years of headhunting experience already, you will have a respectful environment with an attractive base salary with the additional fringe benefits of medical insurance, as well as a friendly bonus scheme. You will also find an easily used system stores tons of passive candidates accumulated over years of working on hiring mandates.

If you’re new to headhunting, or never have done headhunting before, you will have top billing experienced head-hunters sit next to you, whom you can observe and stretch to learn all aspects of headhunting, as well as industry knowledge. Moreover, you will have the chance to interact and learn from your candidates, who are one of the smartest groups of talents mostly from highly respected financial institutions. Last but not least, you will be provided an attractive base salary with the additional fringe benefits of medical insurance, as well as a friendly bonus scheme

Responsibilities:

If you do have several years of headhunting experience already, you will be responsible for

  • Business development in an appropriate way, with a relatively good hit rate. If not, you may not be ready to do business development yet.
  • Negotiating contracts that meet the T&C requirement of our company – a good T&C rate will benefit all parties inc. yourself, our firm, as well as the client in the long run.
  • Searching & headhunting candidates in combined and multiple ways, not only rely on job sites so that you/your team could produce passive candidates to clients, that will essentially benefit the clients, and make the clients return to you.
  • Accessing and Screening candidates, so that your hard work could increase all parties’ time and productivity.
  • Handling the execution process, to ensure a good execution process.
  • Dealing with closing and post-closing effectively and appropriately with much care, so that we do not screw up clients and candidates at this most critical step of a project.  

If you’re new to headhunting or never have done headhunting before, you will be responsible for

  • Searching & headhunting candidates in an appropriate way supervised under a senior consultant, so you learn the proper & productive way to conduct a search
  • Collect market information by talking to candidates (mostly starting with junior candidates first), so that the team could also learn from you.
  • Helping senior consultants to handle the execution process under a senior consultant’s watch, so that the process does not go wrong.
  • Cvinput, as well as setting up record.
  • Arranging interviews or setting up calls for the senior consultants, so you could observe the senior consultants’ talks and moves.
  • Having good communication internally, so that you & your senior consultants are at the same pace of a project, so you could maintain a good and effective working relationship with your senior consultant.  

Qualification Section:

  • At least 1-year working experience after graduation.
  • Bachelor degree.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.
  • Someone has lots of “yes” answers to questions in sector 1 of this Job Description.
