About Our Client
Our client is a leading American credit rating agency that provides credit ratings, research and risk analysis and they are now opening an exciting position for a regulatory compliance associate to manage Asia Pacific regional and local compliance and regulatory related projects. This role will require significant interaction with compliance, government, public affairs and shared services function globally.

Job Description
  • Responsible for coordinating project execution, tracking deliverables and reporting progressing to project team and stakeholders for various Asia Pacific regional and local compliance and regulatory related projects
  • Develop project plans and requirements, actions items, key deliverables/objectives, management structure and due dates
  • Prepare weekly status reports, agendas and meeting minutes, management dashboards and status updates for project meetings
  • Track new global regulatory reporting requirements, coordinate Asia Pacific regulatory filings, maintain calendar, reporting and project documentation
  • Support Asia Pacific Compliance Officers on different projects and initiatives and assist in ad hoc local or global compliance initiatives


The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management or relevant discipline
  • At least 7 years or working experience in compliance within financial industry with 4 years in project management, planning and execution of initiatives
  • Experience in regulatory reporting, working with a financial industry regulator, corporate legal, compliance, audit department at a regulated financial services firm is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, excellent interpersonal skills and able to work independently as part of a global team
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio and Project)
