Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for private banking compliance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and assess the bank's compliance with private banking regulations, and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to the private banking business on compliance matters.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in private banking regulations and ensure that the bank's policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
• Conduct investment suitability assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide training to private banking employees and management on compliance and investment suitability matters.
• Manage relationships with regulators and external auditors.
• Investigate and manage compliance incidents and breaches.
• Work with the bank's technology and security teams to ensure that private banking systems and processes are compliant with regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in private banking compliance.
• Strong understanding of private banking products and services, as well as investment suitability requirements.
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
