about the job

• Conduct fundamental research adopting scientific expertise and articulated investment insights in the industry
• Identify investment opportunities in global healthcare and biotech industry
• Participate in full deal cycle (deal sourcing, due diligence, execution, investment committee meetings)
• Build and maintain relationship with both internal and external advisors / investors and any other relevant stakeholders

skills & experiences required

• PhD graduate in immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, gene editing, or Pharmaceutical Sciences or other relevant life science programme
• Ideally at least 1 to 3 years of experience in investment field with PE / VC, investment banking, equity research or strategy consulting; our client is also open to candidates with prior experience in research labs and/or clinics
• Familiar with financial modeling, deal due diligence
• Strong communication skills in fluent English and Chinese language
• Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced working environment with a strong desire to learn and succeed
