Securities Manager

Responsibilities 

•​Oversee the daily operation of two teams including data processing and departmental risk control
•Monitor margin call / exceed line and perform risk surveillance of share financing in response to market upheaval
•Manage data governance standards for data quality
•Establish and enhance policies and procedures in respect of securities operation to ensure full compliance with external regulatory requirements, internal bank polices and operation risk control
•Responsible for internal control, process development and enhancement initiatives to ensuring controls in the team
•Formulate, drive and implement process enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
•Work and liaise with different internal parties or external vendor (i.e., relationship manager, compliance, risk and IT)
•Manage and support business projects such as providing user requirements for system changes 
•Provide teams with career development guidance and feedback

Requirements 

•​Degree holder in any discipline(s)
•Minimum 7 years’ experience in securities operation
•Prior experience with margin lending business, data management & governance role, able to provide expertise in data quality processes
•Strong leadership and ability to work with all levels
•Very proactive and can work independently with minimal supervision 
•Self-motivation with excellent interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and work under pressure 
•Proficiency in spoken and written Cantonese, English and ideally Mandarin
•Strong in Microsoft excel, word and PowerPoint (including Chinese Word Processing) and VBA programming
