Senior Accountant – with Type 1 experience

Job duties:

     Group：

• Perform general accounting duties, full set of books and handle financial reporting in compliance with company policy
• Prepare accounting journal record and bank reconciliation
• Process payments including staff expenses reimbursement
• Prepare invoices and transactions reconciliation
• Perform day-to-day account receivable and credit control functions such as credit risk assess and collection activities
• Assist finance manager to prepare management report
• Assist finance manager in annual tax computation, filing and audit matters
• Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies and implement work process improvement 
• Any ad-hoc duties as required

     Brokage：

• Work with the team to ensure the daily operations follow the requirements as stipulated by the regulatory bodies, such as SFC (Type 1,4)
• Handle daily/monthly FRR and ensure strict compliance in meeting the liquid capital requirements and client money rules on a daily basis
• Perform reconciliation of inter-company accounts
• Responsible for financial management report, work closely with headquarter for group reporting
• Liaise with various parties to facilitate daily accounting operations
• Responsible for the annual budget, planning, forecasting, and monthly operational review report
• Any ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications / Skills:

• Responsible and self-motivated
• Effective communication skill in English and Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Detail-minded and independent
• Knowledge of IFRS/HK GAAP and related financial standard/compliance requirement is a plus
• Experience in accounting software like Kingdee is a plus

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in the Finance industry (Prefer in a Securities Firm)
• Have knowledge of handling FRR reporting and SFC preparation is a must
• Familiar with SFC standards and License 1,4 & 9
• Working experience in group level is highly preferred
• Experience with OTC, Back-To-Back trade accounting treatment and FRR knowledge is highly preferred
• Immediate availability is preferred
