Senior Collector - Wealth & Personal Banking

HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Collector.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls from OR/Trustee/Nominee/Branch/Department /customer on matters relating to BKY and IVA -Produce MI Report based on emails from eGuard and TransUnion
  • Handle complaints lodged by internal and external customers
  • Handling incoming correspondences from OR, Solicitor Firms etc.
  • Check and approve BKY related maintenance task and ensure all necessary write-off is done
  • Prepare MI and statistics related to Bankruptcy case
  • POD checking and update to CACS
  • Gather BKY date and prepare accurate monthly return for record and reporting purpose
  • Prepare letters to reply enquiries raised from OR/Trustee/Nominee on matters related to BYK and IVA
  • Back up as maintenance clerk when necessary
  • Monitor special queue in CACS - S36
  • Validate monthly surprise check on interest waiver for the checking of Senior Manager
  • Support IVA related work when required - Handle IVA Interim and Passed cases
  • Take up additional assignment willingly - Handing of Opensan activities


  • Candidate with proven knowledge in credit control
  • With experience within the banking and financial sector and knowledge in collections process flow and collection system
  • With good command of English and Cantonese
  • Confident in handling outbound and inbound collections call and possesses good negotiation skills
  • Candidate with experience in handle bankruptcy cases
