The Company We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Manager in Banking Compliance to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements set forth by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). Your expertise in HKMA and SFC regulations, coupled with strong leadership skills, will be essential in guiding our organization towards maintaining a robust and compliant banking compliance framework.
The Role - Stay abreast of HKMA and SFC regulations, guidelines, circulars, and industry best practices related to banking compliance.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to the organization's banking activities.
- Assess the impact of regulatory changes and proactively advise relevant stakeholders on necessary compliance measures.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure adherence to HKMA and SFC regulations, including conducting regular compliance reviews and assessments.
- Develop and enhance the organization's banking compliance framework, policies, and procedures in line with HKMA and SFC requirements.
- Establish and implement effective compliance monitoring and surveillance programs to identify and address potential compliance risks.
- Design and deliver training programs to promote awareness and understanding of banking compliance requirements among employees.
- Implement and maintain a robust system for tracking and reporting compliance issues, incidents, and resolution actions.
Your Profile - 5+ years of experience in banking compliance, specifically with a focus on HKMA and SFC regulations, in a financial institution or regulatory agency.
- In-depth knowledge of HKMA and SFC regulatory requirements, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and associated compliance risks.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing banking compliance frameworks and programs.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and credit risk management software.
