Job Purpose
Perform second checker role to review and administer standard loan documentation in compliance with the Bank's policy and guidelines & / or regulatory requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Review and sign off facility letter, instruction letter and loan / security documentation within the agreed service pledge
- Authorize loan drawdown / line dispatch by signing off documentation checklist upon perfection of loan documents
- Supervise daily operations on loan document / letter processing prior to draw down / line dispatch
- Monitor turnaround time of documentation process
- Ensure compliance of all regulatory requirements, credit policy, guidelines and procedures on issuance and vetting of standard loan documentation
- Support team leader to review operation process to streamline the documentation workflow and efficiency
- Prepare monthly reports to business units
- Assist team leader to train up new comers
- Handle assigned ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Degree holder or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in retail loan documentation preferably with PRC mortgage handling
- Good knowledge on Companies Ordinance and legal requirements for perfection of loan documentation
- Good knowledge and concept in retail banking products
- Good interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
