Senior Manager / AVP, Operations Risk & Control - Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Review business and operational processes to ensure proper implementation of corrective actions to address control deficiencies
• Identify, assess, and offer insights on control needs for risks mitigation to help improving operational risks
• Ensure OPG owned policies, guidelines, procedures and practices are in place to address key Operational risks and that are aligned with the Bank’s statutory and regulatory requirements
• Ensure audit findings are rectified properly. Undertake consistent liaison and collaboration with internal audit, external audit, ORM, compliance
• Lead, manage and improve operational risk and control including monitor OPG KRIs, take charge of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”) within OPG as well as conduct Quality Assurance testing of relevant controls  
• Support Bank-wide and OPG key strategic compliance and operational risk initiatives such as BCP management from setting policy, guideline and procedures that meet regulatory requirements to drive the annual BCP drill across all branches and subsidiary. 
• Support risk management projects, e.g. risk tool implementation, business impact analysis, dashboards
• Liaise and coordinate with other control functions on operational risk and control activities

Requirements

• Degree holder or equivalent preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management or related professional qualification
• 5-8 years of banking experience in process design, operation and operational risk management
• Good knowledge of a variety of banking products and operational risk management framework, best practices in quality and presentation
• High awareness of both quality and risk, especially compliance-related risk and security issues
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager
