Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct report to AVP of Customer Information Services in Account Services of Consumer Banking Operations - Technology and Operations.
  • Provide quality service on customer information enquiry from law enforcement agencies, various court order, winding up & bankruptcy, deceased case handling, public record search and Caution List maintenance;
  • Lead a team of 9 staffs and assist team leader to streamline the workflow and update the operation manual, operation handbook, SOP ;
  • Support daily transactions and monitor staff/ search agent ' s/ vendor performance to ensure adherence to SLA agreed with BUs in terms of standard service turnaround time or according to industry practice or as required in court order, accuracy and correctness and comply to bank policies and regulatory requirements ;
  • Handle internal/ external customer compliant tactfully and ensure responsive problem solving for enquiries from branches and other units/ parties within benchmark ;
  • Provide periodic operational reports and management reports as required ;
  • Perform checking and reconcilement of general ledgers and other system records on timely basis ;
  • Provide suggestions to the supervisor on ways to improve the efficiency and quality of services as well as explore digitalization opportunity;
  • Promote the staff awareness on regulatory and compliance requirements and internal control standards ;
  • Prepare, review, to update Business Continuity Plan and conduct regular drill to ensure the operations will not be interrupted due to disaster;
  • Act as various coordinator as assigned by supervisor ;
Requirements:
  • University Degree Holder with minimum 2-year experience in banking operations or OSP related working experience
  • Experience of people management
  • Able to build an effective teamwork within the section and co-operate in a harmonious and productive manner with superiors
  • Able to work independently, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proficiency in spoken / writing skills in both English and Chinese
