Job Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Department Head
- Aid in the daily workflow of the department, including but not limited to, preparing for weekly/monthly internal meetings, client meetings, and annual strategy sessions
- Construct and maintain internal financial database and other infrastructures
- Develop, optimize, and backtest various low frequency equity strategies
- Participate in various ad hoc projects as needed
Job Requirements
- Possessed 2 to 7 years of related work experience, preferably in buy/sell side equity or multi-asset strategy roles, or in the area of quantitative strategy. Holder of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or other applied quantitative science, or equivalent education and related training
- Proficiency in data extraction from financial databases such as FactSet, Bloomberg, and Wind is essential
- Strong skills in financial modeling and programming are required. Preferred programming languages include Python, VBA, and SQL
- A self-motivated candidate with a strong interest in the financial market and investment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial. The candidate should also be adaptable to changes and thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Candidate with higher qualification will be considered for “Senior” position.
