Job Duties:
The Information Technology Division (ITD) is responsible for the secure, reliable and continuous operation of our technology platforms at HKEX. ITD helps our business to capture the benefits of the accelerating pace of technology change in our industry. We are working to ensure that our core systems help to facilitate improvements in market efficiency; that we are embracing the application of new technologies across, and beyond, our value chain to deliver a better market experience and more cost-effective outcomes; and we are exploring potential strategic partnerships to venture into new horizons in Fintech and data markets. We have over 300 professionals supporting our full-suite of IT functions in systems infrastructure and operations, application system development and support, quality assurance, security management, system architecture, and hosting services.

The incumbent will assist a team for supporting, developing and enhancing Post Trade applications. He/She is expected to:

• Participate systems development activities and work with other application and system teams on activities with common system impacts
• Adhere to HKEX IT standards and guidelines of application development; conduct quality assurance review for complex software design and code changes
• Collaborate with cross departments and exercise vendor management during project development
• Provide production maintenance & support after project launch on critical production systems
• Undertake any other assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines
• At least 5 years' relevant experience
• Knowledge and solid experience on using AWS, EKS/ Fargate, Java, Linux, Springboot Java development framework, Oracle, Redis, XML, JSON and MQ.
• Solid experience in developing largescale critical systems on AWS or equivalent Cloud platform, including Kubernetes and containerized applications. Development experience in cross platform integration is an added advantage.
• Knowledge and experience on ForgeRock and SWIFT is a plus
• Conversant with SDLC, DevOps, Internet Security and Agile
• Experience on dealing with user and vendor
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential.
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
