Who we are
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Senior Systems Engineer to join our Cloud & Platform team. Our team maintains company-wise shared services & tools including ServiceNow, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, M365, BMC TrueSight, etc. We play a critical role to maintain these company-wise systems that are critical to daily business operation. We also partner with application and cyber security teams to operate our systems in such fast growing financial markets in Hong Kong. If you want to make an impact, come and join us.

Job Responsibilities:

• Report to team head and work closely with Operations team to maintain shared services and tools
• Perform regular system administration, performance monitoring, tuning as well as related problem trouble-shooting
• Implement compliance standards and perform regular system compliance review and proactively assesses exposure area
• Manage procurement and carry out asset management for equipment being supported
• Manage vendor to ensure the highest quality delivery and implementation

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience with system automation, monitoring, administration and system support
• Hands on experience of ServiceNow and Operating system(Red Hat Enterprise Linux / Windows) administration skill
• Good knowledge of either one of the products: Ansible Tower, ServiceNow, BMC Truesight and Microsoft SCOM/Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Experience in developing script solutions(eg. Python, Shell script, PowerShell, VBA) for process improvement and automation is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, JIRA, Jenkins and Terraform is an advantage
• Project management experience in sizable scale technology infrastructure implementation is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and analytical skills
• Higher Diploma or Degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering or relevant discipline
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Systems Engineer
