Settlement Officer (FX/MM) - Sizable Bank

Overview

My client is one top tier Bank which has a solid history in Hong Kong market with strong present around Asia. As they are expanding their team, they are now offering a competitive compensation packing looking for an expereince Settlement Officer (FX/MM) to join their team.



Role Responsibilities

• You will perform and manage daily treasury settlements on FX/MM, Fixed Income Securities and OTC derivatives products(IRS/CCS)
• Communicate with internal parties & counterparties to solve settlement problems
• Lead a small team and keep the team operation efficient and effective.
• Administrate the settlement related activities include AML screening processing, reconcile account posting for transactions
• You will support functions of corporate action as well as custodian service
• Provide administrative and clerical support to Operations Department
• Participate in project initiatives and UAT for system enhancements
• Regular review and enhancement on the current workflow, policy as well as system

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, Accounting, Banking or related discipline
• At least 3 years of working experience in treasury settlement & operations and people management expereince
• Solid experience of the operations and settlement of Foreign Exchange, Money Market and Bonds settlement
• Good knowledge in SWIFT/CHATS/CMU/Euroclear/Clearstream and other international/domestic payment and settlement systems
• Resolve problems in transaction reporting according to regulatory requirement
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese with PC skills
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
