Snr/ Fund Accountant, Buy-side

Our client, with SFC 1,4,9 licenses and a trustee license, is a distinguished multi-family office/external asset manager based in Hong Kong that offer comprehensive and innovative investment solutions and advisory service that yield exceptional long-term results.

The team boasts extensive experience in serving ultra-high net worth families across generations. Alongside our top-of-the-line EAM business, they offer a range of affiliated services to support wealth preservation and succession, including investment management, wealth & protection planning, philanthropy advisory and more.

Responsibilities

• Handle financial reporting and prepare regular reports for funds
• Ensure proper trade record keeping and perform investment analysis on transactions
• Prepare management reports on revenue and expenses
• Support the month-end closing process
• Responsible for SFC filings, including FRR returns and answer queries
• Participate in finance efficiency or process improvement projects to automate/enhance workflows
• Provide ad hoc support to finance & operation needs

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-6 years of experience in the financial services sector, preferably SFC licensed companies. Candidates from banking or other reltaed industries are still welcome (more experienced incumbent will be considered as Senior Accountant)
• Auditors with SFC licensed companies client exposure are welcome 
• Knowledge in fund accounting is an advantage
• A trailblazer mindset for start-up environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
