Design & Requirements
Define and provide user experience and user interaction solutions and wireframes for core business platforms, web and native applications that could cover both distribution or consumer facing initiatives
Ability to manage and comprehend more complex business platforms that have high impact within the different markets
Ability to very clearly define the correct problem, and potentially skip parts of the research in order to accelerate to the solutions, thereby saving time and costs for the company.
Provide ongoing UX/UI support for core platforms as external and internal requirements arise.
Engage and communicate with internal stakeholders in regional markets to align, and deliver seamless platform journeys and interaction solutions
Lead the conduct, analysis, and evaluation of user research activities specific to platforms to inform UX and UI decisions and assets for the relevant platform ideation.
Liaise effectively with product managers at group and country levels and developers to align suitable UX/UI assets and application
Ensure platforms are designed to achieve platform and customer success metrics in line with the business objectives.
Partner with Product Managers, CX and business functional teams to support and guide the requirements refinement
Support the design aspects of the platform roadmap and delivery timelines alongside target business goals.
Ability to manage multiple platform portfolios at the same time
Contribute to the development and skill learnings of the junior UX/UI product designers in the team
Support the maintenance and growth of platform(s) through structured feedback-loop design thinking cycles, ensuring effective prioritisation of design enhancements aligned with best-in-class practices consistent with company vision and business goals.
Support the attainment of key financial metrics related to the application platform(s), including through design analysis and iterations.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
University degree in Graphic, Interaction, Web, Multimedia Design or related equivalent with 6+ years of UX/UI design experience working on digital platforms or applications
Expert knowledge and proven UI design system and methodologies
Fundamental understanding of typography, iconography and composition
Expert knowledge of Design software (Sketch, Adobe CC, or similar)
Experience in Financial Services, eCommerce / InsurTech-Fintech / Start-up environment, while not mandatory, will be advantageous.
Prior experience in managing digital design initiatives involving multi-functional stakeholders
Experience and proficiency with communicating and managing relations with senior counterparts in cross countries
Past experience in guiding junior team members in the area of UX/UI methodologies and rationalisations
KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Practised and skilled understanding of the current and emerging design frameworks and systems and how they are applied to digital application design processes and asset(s) creation
Ability to conduct and process Design Thinking processes and activities in context of supporting a platform design problem set
Skilled in partner engagement for ideation and problem-solving facilitation with stakeholders.
Knowledge to manage all design tasks related to a platform project (research, wireframes, usability, prototyping, testing, mock-ups and preparing and communicating assets)
Familiar with Agile work environment as a UX/UI product manager
High capacity to understand new problem concepts related to financial services, analyse and solve problems within design context.
