My client is a sizeable Foreign Bank branch in Hong Kong with a reputable and large Asia presence, providing a wide range of services including commercial banking and corporate banking services. The finance department is now looking for a new Vice President to join their HKMA Regulatory Reporting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Head of the regulatory reporting team and work within a team of less than 10
- Be a reviewer of HKMA banking returns and surveys
- Lead system implementation or HKMA related projects and UAT work
- Manage any new HKMA regulatory reporting requirements as and when requested and ensure efficient communication and implementation of new guidelines
- Support any other ad hoc queries and projects related to regulatory reporting
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related
- Qualified Accountant
- At least 10+ years of experience in preparing and reviewing HKMA banking returns / regulatory reporting within banking industry
- Strong communications/native level Cantonese and English speaking skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and project management skills
