Vice President, NBFI, Financial Institutions Group

Overview

Due to continued investment and growth in the region, a growing corporate bank is seeking to hire a Relationship Manager (NBFI) for the Financial Institutions Group Department to develop and grow a portfolio of assigned NBFI sector.

Role Responsibilities

• Be responsible for managing and growing the assigned Financial Institutions sector portfolio through new customer acquisition and deep penetration of existing client relationships
• Promote bank products and financial solutions to deepen client wallet share and build strong relationships with NBFI clients such as Securities, Insurance and Financial Sponsor clients.
• Working in parallel with the Credit Management team, to oversee the credit application and memo write up, and be accountable to continuous monitoring of credit performance of the customer portfolio.
• Identify and solicit new business opportunities in lending, deposits, FX Clearing, Money Market/Foreign Exchange, loan custodian services, etc
• Partner with product teams to identify cross-selling opportunities in Treasury products and Syndicated loan, etc.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the business department when neccesary

Requirements

• 5-8 years Financial Institutions relationship management experience
• Good knowledge of banking products such as derivative, FX, etc. for institutional clients and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan is preferable
• Bachelor's Degree; Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, FRM are desirable
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation/excel and powerpoint skills in english;
• Due to target customer segment, proficiency in spoken English and Mandarin.
