Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering with the business stakeholders and propose suitable solutions. You will be in IT EQD department supporting the Front Office and Back Office of Prime and Equity Derivatives business.
- Work closely with the developers to deliver solutions to integrate the Warrant Market Making systems with other inhouse systems
- Analyse the requirements for other systems related to the Warrant Market Making business, e.g. Issuance Workflow
- Keep record and documents on functional requirements, design, user manuals, etc to meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Conduct testing for new features and enhancements thoroughly before deploying to UAT and Production, and ensure that the test results are fully documented for compliance
- Coordinate with production support teams on releases and issue management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with Honor (or equivalent) or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an IT related discipline from a prestigious institution
- 8 years of experience as a business analyst in software development in the financial industry
- At least 3 years of experience in Warrant Market Making business and good understanding of business
- Knowledge of Option pricing and strong mathematical skills
- Hands on with Python Or other scripting language, familiar with SQL
- Working knowledge of automated testing frameworks and best practices
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills with excellent communication and project management skills
- Good at UI and workflow design
- Past development skills in C++ or Java
- Strong attention to details, familiarity with Agile development artifacts, best practices and ability to mesh requirements-driven tasks and technical debt reduction tasks
