My client is an elite hedge fund which focuses on developing high frequency quantitative strategies for trading global markets. Headquartered in Hong Kong with a dominating presence in 10 Asian countries’ stock markets, they are looking for a talented candidate to join their Site Reliability Team as part of their continued expansion plans.
Responsibilities:
- Work with multiple teams such as gather implementation requirements to ensure a reliable, productive, and efficient production application environment
- Collaborate with the vendors and counterparties to improve the autonomy of the ETL workflow for an optimised lifecycle
- Contribute to merging various teams and solutions together to streamline technology implementations company-wide.
- Demonstrate an ability to analyze complex business/technical problems and make sound technical decisions proactively and in a self-directed manner.
Qualifications:
- Industry experience in programming languages such as Python and SQL. C++ or Java is a plus but not essential
- 2+ years of experience with software development life cycle
- Experience in Kafka/Docker/Kubernetes
