Department Overview

Product Analytics and Marketing (PAM) team is a key component of WF - Emerging Services. PAM brings a team member-based approach to the international talent pool focusing on analytical requirements. PAM, encompasses roles that deliver insights and analysis based on skills, experience and judgment. Team members exercise this judgment under general direction versus rule-driven processing. Processes and services performed in this area tend to be based on skills, domain knowledge and intellectual capability.

About the Role

Support analytics and reporting requirements for PVSI Control and Quality reporting along with reporting for Issues Management.
Responsible for consulting with partners to identify and define business requirements and translate business needs into complex analysis designs and recommendations. Identifies and recommends internal and external data sources, compiles/mines data from multiple, cross business sources; recommends and participates in the development of complex analysis designs using statistical and/or financial analysis, predictive modeling, process documentation, comparative analysis, customer/demographic analysis, etc.; interprets results and recommends solutions to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency/quality, etc. Ensures adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies. Data involved may be very large, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources. To a certain degree, may assist indirectly in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc that enable analysis, modeling, and/or data visualization. May manage project teams and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

  • Access data both within a structured database and semi-structured text or Excel files
  • Automate Excel reports using SAS and or Tableau
  • Optimize existing and create new SAS scripts through the use of SAS macros
  • Conduct basic text analysis to better understand dataset informational value
  • Consult with partners to define issues/information needs
  • Present findings to multiple levels of management
  • Ensure that analyses are delivered on time, while surpassing partner expectations
  • Ensure partner transparency throughout the life of the project
  • Proactively seek opportunities to increase the value of analysis

Market Skills and Certifications

Essential Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis
  • 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both
  • Strong SAS/SQL and reporting experience
  • Experience utilizing Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong experience in data visualization tools (such as Tableau) (at least 1 resource)
  • SAS macro experience to help with development and automation (at least 1 Resource)
  • Fluency in English and at least one regional language
