Department Overview
The Enterprise Technology Infrastructure (ETI) team within the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) is responsible for enterprise-wide infrastructure services across the global footprint, including networking, production services, storage, data centers, mainframe, midrange and Cloud-based systems, distributed systems, and international infrastructure.
About the Role
You will work as part of the ETI-EDM( Enterprise database management) team to support EXADATA Machines and . You will interact closely with multiples partners.
Builds complex clustered Oracle Exadata environments.
Installs, upgrades and patches Exadata Engineered systems and relational database management systems (RDBMS), monitoring software, and layered products.
Provides ongoing support/ troubleshooting and problem resolution for any software issues, vulnerabilities.

Facilitates Exadata delivery by interfacing with Data center and Engineering partner teams.
Provides ongoing support for troubleshooting infrastructure issues and for required maintenance / replacement for any infrastructure components.
Works with enterprise teams to expand hardware services as required.
Perform Capacity / Performance Monitoring and analysis for Exadata solutions based on captured trend data to ensure that adequate capacity is available on an ongoing basis.Any unexpected behavior will be flagged for follow up.
Provides guidance on important efforts for many enterprise projects.Consults with cross LOB CIO teams, DBAs and Vendor partners to ensure we are delivering standard solutions wherever possible and design custom solutions only where needed for deployment on Engineered Exadata platforms. Provides consulting advice, guidance and mentoring on implementing and migrating to the EDM Exadata target architecture.
Support Engineering goals for the Exadata Service product strategy roadmap including delivery and certification of Exadata Service solutions on an ongoing basis.Contribute to the development of policies, standards and procedures.

Essential Qualifications
  • University degree .
7+ year's database design and administration experience.
• 5+ years Oracle database architecture, design and administration experience
o Experience with ASM, RAC, and RMAN

Desired Qualifications
  • Working experience in EXADATA
  • Certification in Exadata
