Market Job Description

Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan. Closely work with the Application Architects for the safety and soundness of the applications assigned, work on delivering Proof of Concepts, generate ideas for Continuous Process Improvements. Effectively collaborate with the ETS CoE partners (ESQA, DBA, Cloud and Architecture) in the effective resolution of a given problem and deliver on time.

Department Overview
The Consumer Lending Technology group within the Enterprise Information Technology business consists of Home lending, Auto and Platform support for various applications across retail/mortgage lending businesses.

About the Role
This is a senior developer position for application maintenance and enhancements. Analyse, design, develop, unit test and maintain applications to meet both functional and technical requirements independently. Demonstrates strong technical and analytical abilities with good understand of software development methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, etc. Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables and extend guidance to less experienced team members for their deliverables. Liaison with various project stakeholders like architects, testing team, business analysis team etc. to meet business goals and project priorities. Contribute to reviews of vendor releases. Implements POCs to analyse latest technologies and impact to the application/projects.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent with at least 9+ years IT experience with primary focus and technical skills/experience in the following:
  • Willing to work in 2nd shift (1.30 PM to 10.30 PM)
  • Microsoft C#.NET (9+ years)
  • Microsoft ASP .NET, MVC .NET(7+ years)
  • LINQ, AJAX, Entity Framework (5+ years)
  • Java Script, JQUERY (5+ years)
  • .NET Framework (9+ years)
  • Web services & WCF (5+ years)
  • Microsoft Azure (3+ years)
  • SSIS (5+ years)
  • SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 stored procedures, user defined functions, Common Table Expressions
  • T-SQL
  • Strong Designing Skills & Object Oriented concepts,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate up and down. Must be fluent in English.
