A Credit focused investment boutique who have recently established a presence in Dublin are looking to hire in the area of risk & portfolio strategy. The firm has a 20 year track record in providing actively managed and unconstrained global fixed income products to a broad institutional investor base - pensions, insurance, asset managers, private banks etc across numerous strategies (developed market sovereign, corporate as well as emerging markets local and hard currency debt)

About Role

Position - Risk and Portfolio Strategist

Asset Class - Global Fixed Income - Long only, daily liquid, Irish UCITS funds

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory risk monitoring & reporting
  • Portfolio risk analysis
  • Macro risk analysis

Skills/Experience

Experience - 7 years plus within fixed income risk management - ideally buy side. Knowledge of core concepts of portfolio risk management essential. Exposure to credit risk preferred.

Background - Quantitative background preferred with strong grounding in macroeconomics

Technical Skills - Coding ability a plus, strong VBA a minimum requirement

Analytical Requirements - Ability to access and analyse variety of market and macroeconomic data sets to assist with top down risk allocation

Self-Motivated - Ability to operate within a small investment team imperative with willingness to take ownership of area development critical
