Securities & Derivat Analyst 1
The Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 will perform daily reconciliations; produce weekly metrics & assist with static data functions.
The role requires daily interaction with Management, Trading desk, Trade Support, Settlements and the Relationship Management team in Dublin, London, Melbourne, Hong Kong and New York

  • Ensure that all Stock and Cash Reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Developing processes, systems and procedures to improve process efficiency and establish best practice. Review current manual processes and develop effective solutions to eliminate manual intervention.
  • Prevent and resolve exceptional errors & escalate to management.
  • Ensuring time-sensitive duties are promptly completed.
  • Conducting Monthly Control testing for critical functions across the department.
  • Collating & creation of weekly & monthly exception reports for senior management
  • Ensure all clients lending parameters are set up correctly on our core systems so that all transactions STP.
  • Have a clear understanding of our client needs e.g. timely settlements, accurate processing, process improvements and quick response time.
  • Manage all trading desk queries as and when required.
  • Experience in Stock & Cash reconciliations, dealing with complex exceptions & following through to resolution.
  • Experience in dealing with Client representatives and external parties
  • Experience of working in a process-driven environment
  • Experience of a financial services environment
  • Experience of working in a controls-focused environment

  • Higher Education / A-Level equivalent or above
  • Work experience relevant to the role will be taken into account
