Job Description


Link Asset Services are looking for highly motivated individuals to join their Loan Servicing Unit. The role holders will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate performance of services in compliance with all regulatory requirements, best practice, good corporate governance and company policies and procedures.

This is an exciting opportunity to get on board at an early stage on a loan origination servicing project The role holder will be responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of a new loan origination platform in a new jurisdiction, ensuring the timely and accurate performance in compliance with all regulatory requirements, best practice, good corporate governance and company policies and procedures.

Accountabilities and main responsibilities

  • Responsible for Account Maintenance, Data Management, Validation and Reporting of loans for each assigned portfolio.
  • Act as conduit for system maintenance requests, queries and correspondence between Link and Client ensuring timely and accurate responses and an orderly flow of information.
  • Manage the cash distributions for each assigned portfolio on the respective Interest Payment Date (IPD) in accordance with loan documentation.
  • Assist in the development of team members and provide feedback on staff performance to management as required.
  • Review loan documentation for critical elements and enter pertinent information onto the servicing system; including interest rate calculations, payment structures, trigger events etc.
  • Analyse and collate data from different source types and produce quantitative reporting packs using excel, for Client reporting.
  • Ensure implementation of internal controls is sufficient to effectively manage risk and minimise the potential for operational loss.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding the specific portfolios in a timely and professional manner to ensure complete customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
  • Develop strong working relationships locally and with colleagues in other locations to ensure that a seamless and best in class service is maintained by the unit.
  • Ensure all regulatory responsibilities of the team are adhered to and interact with Compliance and other departments as appropriate.
  • Identify and implement process and system efficiencies as part of the continuous improvement initiative.

 

 

Qualifications


Essential

  • Proficiency in MS packages with advanced Excel experience l.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively (written & oral) at all levels.
  • Experience of project management , coordination of multiple stakeholders, meeting agreed deadlines –
  • Experience of documenting policy and procedures
  • Excellent customer service focus and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet and manage strict deadlines.
  • Dynamic self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team balancing multiple priorities, demonstrating good organisation, problem solving and analytical skills

Desirable

  • A third level financial, accounting, or QFA qualification is an advantage.
  • Three years plus experience in the financial services industry.
