Mediobanca is looking for two candidates for two vacant positions in its Project & Program Management team. Within this team, the two candidate will have a different focus: one on CIB/Capital Markets areas and one on Treasury and Liquidity Risk. Both candidates will be required to ensure that projects under their responsibility are delivered on time, on budget, and with the required quality, complying with bank policies and internal practices.

Main Responsibilities- focus on CIB/ Capital Market:

• execute CIB/Treasury/Capital markets projects, including both complex transformational initiatives and the development of new products;
• propose an effective project structure and governance, and manage the key stakeholders;
• define project phases/waves and execute/review project work plans in order to meet changing requirements;
• communicate with the sponsor and the team leader during all the project phases, in order to promptly address issues and mitigate risks that could potentially result in the disruption of the project scope, costs or deadlines;
• lead the project team on a daily basis (tasks allocation, prioritization, etc.) to ensure a successful delivery;
• address key users requirements to IT and advisory/software vendor;
• monitor IT support and sub-contractors activities;
• report status, progresses and risks in compliance with the reporting framework;
• Identify, evaluate and report risks and issues to ensure corrective and/or preventive measures are timely taken;
• update reports data on regular basis;
• contribute to continuous improvement, promoting cohesion and commitment of the team to its missions.


Main Responsibilities- focus on Treasury / Liquidity Risk:

• execute corporate treasury/liquidity risk projects which are related to funding, liquidity, asset/liability management and capital management needs;
• execute/review project work plans in order to meet changing requirements;
• assist Treasury/Risk Management key users in order to comply with regulatory expectations (JST onsite inspection, ICAAP, ILAAP, SSM Liquidity Exercise, Liquidity Stress Tests);
• coordinate with the Supervisor on all phases of the engagement and execution of the project in order to promptly address any issues or questions that could potentially result in alterations to the project parameters (alternative di parameters: perimeter/scope?), costs or deadlines;
• address key users requirements to IT and advisory/software vendor;
• monitor IT support and sub-contractors activities;
• manage communication between Group legal entities;
• have experience with Basel capital and liquidity regulations.


 The ideal candidates should:
• have Master of Science in Management Engineering
• have 3 to 5 year experience in project management in a Financial Institution or Advisory firm
• have a strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
• have high level of personal initiative, drive, motivation and commitment
• be able to set priorities and flexible to review them in a constantly changing environment
• have a strong attitude towards problem solving
• be fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• have a familiarity with office automation tools, especially Microsoft Office and Project
• be able to impact/influence decisions and individuals
• have analytical skills and be able to provide a synthetic view
