The successful candidate will preferably have at least 4 – 6 years’ experience selling market data services to the financial community. This will have included sales skills to include the initial prospecting, negotiating and closing process. They will help with on-boarding as required and ensure that training, as required for the customer, actually happens.
They should be team players, able to work as part of an integrated sales group, sharing client information to maximize team performance as required.
They will have a solid understanding of market data and its uses within their client base. This will include the ability to communicate clearly with technical specialists at both our client and customer sites.
Whilst not essential, ideally the candidate would have some detailed experience in a specific asset class (market), having worked in a trading, sales, or a risk role at an international bank, or experience at a data vendor selling middle and back office products. Ideally experience around fixed income and or OTC products being preferred.
