Position Objective:
This position is managing a team of product sales professionals whose focus is consultative sales of cash management and trade value propositions for working capital and operational efficiencies for the ICG target market in Malaysia - Top Tier Local Corporates who operate both within Malaysia and abroad, Multinationals who do business in the domestic economy and Public sector entities.
The TTS proposition is very comprehensive comprising payments, receivables and liquidity management, commercial cards, domestic and cross-border trade, supply chain financing and information services. The TTS Sales team partners with the Coverage, Product, Client Delivery and Operations teams to increase the TTS product uptake by Citi's customer base.
The successful applicant needs to possess strong interpersonal skills, professional maturity and a sound knowledge of corporate treasury requirements. Client solutions in this business can be highly customised and requires significant structuring skills. Good business acumen to relate to clients and their needs will be required.
The successful applicant will manage a team of sales managers and will be expected to build senior-level relationships with key clients, internal and external business partners and industry contacts. You will proactively identify and develop new opportunities and provide the TTS organization locally and globally with a dynamic partnership that will facilitate our business goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine and deliver the sales plan/pipeline goals of the business in conjunction with the TTS Head and Regional TTS Sales Head
  • Develop and execute on a pipeline of client prospects, sufficient to provide required business growth
  • Manage a team of sales managers who achieve aggressive revenue goals, measured and rewarded against set targets
  • Manage key business drivers like calling plans, deal closure and execution, customer satisfaction, etc.
  • Establish relationships with key clients and business partners to identify new business opportunities
  • Monitor and understand customer needs, market and economic trends as well as business opportunities and threats
  • Coordinate internally to drive timely and flawless execution of client mandates
  • Adopt and leverage new marketing strategies such as partnerships, conferences, advisory boards
  • Embed quality in client touch-points including proposals and presentations
  • Develop sales talent through active coaching, leading training opportunities and attracting top sales talent


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in transaction/corporate banking in a frontline role
  • Knowledge of cash, trade and treasury products/services
  • Proven track record in cross cultural and matrix business settings
  • Formulation and implementation of business strategy across all corporate customer segments
